Finally, Paris Fashion week, the best one and I'm leaving for Paris tomorrow. Two of my favourites have already shown, Dries Van Noten and The Row, who showed in Paris for the first time. The Olsen sisters keeps on surprising. Well, surprising might not be the right word, but they keep on surpass themselves. They presented their collection in a château, 45 minutes outside Paris, leaving New York because their costumers are mostly in Paris. The venue was absolutely amazing, break taking, so beautiful with the light and feel. The collection is still all about simplicity and pure lines. I can't begin to pick a favourite, this is by far the best collection I've seen from the sisters. The colors, the materials, that blanket coat with models hugging their clutch, magical.
And then we have Dries, who presented a very glamorous and shiny collection for spring 2016. The collection showed Van Noten’s love of rich traditional fabrics like jacquards, brocade, and shot silk with sequins, gold, copper, pale blue and many other bright colours. As always, the details are magical and the shoes are just dreamy as well as that deep fuchsia.
