The last of Milan. Marni is all about prints and colors, and for spring 2016 it's also all about dresses. This collection is very abstract, with bold color blocking and flowy cuts. Marni, a bit more minimalistic, but still so good.
Then we have another colourful favorite, MSGM. Nowadays, Massimo Giorgetti is also the creative director at Pucci. It has only been 4 years since MSGM launched, and it's already a street style photographers favorite, and well known brand world wide. The spring 16 collection is not as quirky as we are used to, it's a bit more tomboyish. The skate movie Lords of Dogtown was apparently a big inspiration. The collection has a strong grunge to it, and I love love love the frill pieces.
The Dolce & Gabbana spring 2016 collection couldn't be more Italian. Inspired by the great Italian stars as well as Capri, Venice, Rome, and Florence the collection showed us how Italy was experienced by tourists coming to the country after world war 2. The designers said, that this time, was the beginning of Italian fashion and I'm glad Dolce & Gabanna looked back to it, because it was so beautiful and fun! Like a dream.
