Later this week I will tell you about my two favorite shows from Paris, they really left me speachless. So make sure you check back. However, now to some of the other great shows during Paris fashion week. Céline, Stella McCartney, Hermés and Giambattista Valli all showed beautiful collections.
Phoebe Philo designed a collection for women, women on the go that is. Clothes designed to make everyday life a little easier and more beautiful for women, it doesn't matter if you are going to work, or picking up the kids. The collection was very voluminous with hints of pink, light blue and red as well as naturel tones of beige, khaki, white and black.
Another one who knows what women want is Stella McCartney. Just like Phoebe, Stella had a thing for volume and slouchy fits. The collections earthy tones are pure perfection, as well as the delicate knitted pieces. I've seen better collections by Stella. However, Stella will forever be a favorite.
Someone who completely surprised me was Giambattista Valli. Some of those romantic, feminine and totally beautiful dresses are like a dream.
Last but not least, Hermés. Big shoulders and sleeves seems to be a huge trend for spring 17 as well as high waisted trousers. Can I hear the 80's knocking on the door? When it comes to leather, Hermés is it. Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski presented some really unique leather looks. A short black aviator inspired leather jacket paired with a green skirt, simply no words, no to mention those high waisted leather trousers. A girl can dream..
